Invitation to teach at a methods workshop in Amsterdam
At the Amsterdam Institute of Social Science Research (AISSR) we organize a workshop on longitudinal interpretive or mixed methods research. Images as scientific source: video tutorials for scientists
Cultural anthropologist John Kleinen and three of his students have received grants to study the use of images as scientific source. The results of the study will be translated in video tutorials for anthropologists, sociologists, political scientists and social geographers.

Research Priority Area 'Global Health' launches new website and centre name
The Centre for Global Health and Inequality (CGHI) has changed its name to Centre for Social Science and Global Health (SSGH). SSGH builds on a long tradition of multidisciplinary social science research on health and illness at the same university.The website provides information on the activities of the centre and affiliated reseachers and projects.

Artists’s impressions of the boundaries of gender
The Amsterdam Research Centre for Gender and Sexuality (ARC-GS) has started a unique cooperation with Ronit Eden Concept and Spatial Design. Ronit Eden is currently organising the exhibition 'The Gatewatcher' (Spring 2012 in Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam, The Netherlands) where international artists address the boundaries of gender. ARC-GS has published photo's of their artworks on the ARC-GS website and thereby supports this exhibition.
